It is a small circuit board that controls a level crossing, it has control of road traffic lights, 2 radio control servos and semaphore signals.
Once triggered it sequences the traffiic lights green/amber/red then moves the servos 90 degrees (linked to crossing gates) then switches Home and distant signals, then reverses the sequence with the traffic lights sequencing back to green. It is just one board with a PIC Microcontroller and all for £10. (supply own servos and traffic lights) (Express Models)
P.S RBDK also do lighting kits for carriages .
P.P.S.and the gates and signals 'bounce' at the end of their travel.
