05/07/98 Towards the conclusion of an investigation, Aegis security was compromised when an Illuminati hit-squad attacked a previously secure base in the Washington DC area. A mole in the group is suspected but unproven. The group was well-equipped, well-informed as to the base's layout and highly professional. No casualties were sustained due to the Aegis group's skilled and spirited defence, but the breach of security is highly worrying. All agents are warned to be even more paranoid than usual over the coming months.
