MEDUEGNA, BELGRADE, YUGOSLAVIA
In the village of Meduegna in the 18th century, a group of doctors investigated an outbreak of "vampirism". On January 7, 1732, Johannes Flickinger, Isaac Seidel, Johann Baumgartner and a Lt Col and a Sub-commandant from Belgrade signed the medical report. They testified to an examination of corpses. Only two - a mother and baby - were found to be in a normal state of decomposition. All the others were "unmistakably in the vampire condition".
