Marcher
My second novel,
which grew out of the short story of the same name and will
be published by Prime Books in 2008:
The
central character, Charles Bowen, is a British immigration
officer. He is an immigration officer of an
unusual kind. He doesn't deal with migrants from other
countries but
with 'shifters', people from other time-lines, some of whom turn out to
be very dangerous indeed.
But why does he do this job? What fascinates him so much about
the boundaries between different worlds, and why is he so afraid of
where his girlfriend Jazamine is leading him?
