Easy and Fast File Uploads: Interactive Tutorials, Upload Wizard, etc.
Interactive Tutorials walk you through the essentials of using WS_FTP Pro including connecting to an actual ftp site and transferring a file to and from your PC.

Upload Wizard: Easily accessible from the Start menu or by right clicking on any file in Windows Explorer, it steps the user through uploading files and folders directly from Windows Explorer to an ftp server.

URL Bar saves you time and provides greater convenience by allowing you to copy and paste URLs directly

Sites Menu enables you to save your current ftp connection as a favorite site, create new sites using the New Site wizard, and organize your favorites.

Quick Connect enables quick connection to sites you want to visit just once.

Browser URL Integration automatically starts WS_FTP Pro accelerate your browser downloads of FTP URLs.

Drag-n-drop capability allows you to drag from FTP sites to your desktop, folders, or even applications. This simplifies and speeds up your file transfer tasks.


Efficient Management: Transfer Manager
Enables you to monitor all file transfer tasks and keep track of their status and progress.

The Transfer History view summarizes the most recent transfer sessions, presents successful uploads/downloads, and allows for downloaded files to be executed via a right-click.

Reliability: Auto Resume & Auto Retry Options
Auto Retry: Allows you to define the number of automatic retries for failed downloads to increase your chance of a successful transfer.


Auto Resume: Automatically resume interrupted or failed transfers in case of involuntary termination (ex. broken connections, application closure, computer shut down, or power outage). Once WS_FTP Pro is restarted, it automatically reconnects and completes the interrupted transfer.


Flexible User Interface
Classic Interface includes toolbars that can be docked anywhere on your desktop

Explorer Interface provides an alternative view consistent with the look and feel of Windows Explorer.

Powerful Utilities included in WS_FTP Pro


enlarge Synchronize - Allows you to "mirror" directory structures between your system and a remote FTP server with minimal manual intervention. It lets you keep remote sites up-to-date by automatically uploading files, which have changed, while deleting files that have been removed from the master directory. This is very useful for quickly and efficiently updating live Web sites from an authoring site or for mirroring FTP servers.

enlarge Scheduler - Provides you with the ability to schedule your file transfer tasks on the dates and times you specify. Use this feature to run scripts developed with the Scripting utility at set intervals.

enlarge Find - Lets you search FTP sites for files that match a name or pattern. This is especially useful when looking for one file on a large, complex FTP site. You can also find files by size or date.


enlarge Scripting - Automates the transfer and management of files through a series of FTP commands such as "open", "get", and "put". You can create a script that instructs WS_FTP Pro to upload certain files, and then use Scheduler to run the script at regularly scheduled times.
