What's New ?
Fin-S is not intended to be a static system; the idea is that it EVOLVES
based on feedback from those people who use it!
To this end, I am ALWAYS
eager to hear user views, particularly if constructive comments as to what they
would like to see added to the product.
I keep a list of
things that are in development, or will be in the next release, and things
which are ideas for futures. If you want to see a list of the new features and
bug-fixes that have gone in to Fin-S Version 6.3, then click here.
The next release is
intended to be version 7, and will include:
- Alterations to remove Toolbars, since these are very difficult to use
under Excel 2007 and Vista;
- Extension to support BridgePhone technology
(see http://www.bridgephone.eu for
details); if anyone needs to try out BridgePhone, I
can supply a beta extension to 6.3 with the capability built in – mail me for details;
If you are using a
version previous to 6.3 and wish to upgrade, then mail me for an upgrade.
Want to know more
about my ideas on transport of bridge data using USEBIO XML? Mail me for details. This is
now being used by the EBU in their Pay-to-Play implementation.
If you want to load
up Version 6.3, then go to the Fin-S Download area, and mail me for the
password to the code file.
NOTE THAT UPGRADES TO
VERSION 6.3 ARE STILL FREE TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS.
