This page is split into two halves, if you want to know how to use all of this stuff just go to the first bit, if you want to know about sending me your stuff go to towards the bottom.

How It Works

This is the part of the page where if you don't know how, you can learn how to use these custom items, sounds and characters.

Items

First of all you need to go to TeamBg and download the character editor and the text maker. This is on the downloads page (Make sure you download the most up to date version and that it is the full download). You need to have a program like winzip which you can also download from there. Then download the item that you want, unzip that and open it with the text editor.Import the .tbg file to the Baldur's Gate Overide file, remember what the name is. Then go to the Character Editor, open it and then open one of the characters , go to the inventory editing screen, then to the add/change button. Here you have to click on the manual entry box. Now you enter the name of the file, do not enter the .itm part of the name. Load up the game, start a new game and import the character with the custom item, there you go. If you need a better explanation, you can either go to the TeamBg Utilities message and put in your question, or e-mail me.

Characters

All you have to do with these is put the character files .cha in the character folder in the Baldur's Gate Directory. If they have portraits make a portrait's folder in the Baldur's Gate directory and put them in. With the sound's you put them all in the Baldur's Gate Sound's file and when creating your character click on the voice that you inserted.

Sounds

All you have to do with these is select the files and put them into your Baldur's Gate Sound's file. When you come to create a new character, when choosing the voice just select the one you inserted.

Spells

For all spells, excluding Grimoire you have to import the .TBG files using the TeamBG SpellMaker.You may also need this file to run the spell maker. If they have a custom bam place the .BAM files in the Override folder. Make a scroll with TeamBG SpellMaker to learn the spell with. Then put the scroll , the same way as with normal items, into your game ie Character Control.

Items

Can you please send all of the Baldur's Gate items to me in .tbg form, all you have to do to make them like this is to export them, using the TeamBg Text Maker. Can you also include a readme. On the actual e-mail, a brief description and the name of the item and who made it. It is better if they have a custom description aswell, this is also made with the text maker. Make sure that it works correctly.

Sounds

If you want to send me your sound's can you zip them down, and include a readme if you can. On the e-mail can you include the name of the person who it is and a description.

Character's

When you send me your character's if they have custom sound's or portrait's can you put them in a seperate folder, along with a readme, and zip them. On the actual e-mail can you put the name of the character and what it includes along with a description.
