You will see many "about" dates, the accuracy of these depends on the source, e.g. census returns, marriage registrations, or they could be just a guess. My notes for a given person will always indicate how the "about" date was calculated.
All surnames given in these indexes use the spelling MARSH, regardless of the form used in original documents - MARSHE, MERSH, MERSHE, etc. My notes for each person give the original spelling.
The localities of many births are shown only as Ken., Eng, USA, or Aus. However, I may have notes which indicate the town or village where a given person lived at a particular time. Over time I will update my records to include "Of" followed by the specific location - 22,000 entries will take a while to get through.
I am not conducting a one-name study of the MARSH name. My interest is in building up family connections, including female lines. I do not support fishing expeditions.
