Andrew Hill was born in 1964 in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire.
After completing his Diploma in Ceramics at Derbyshire College of Higher Education in
1985, he began working as a potter in his own studio and workshop in Trawden, Lancashire
Andrew became a member of the Craft Potters Association (CPA) in 1993 and received
fellowship in 1999 . Work is raku fired with bracken, ferns and sawdust which often leave
their image on the pieces.
