The smaller table is a lamp stand, with its matching Hall table.

Both are made with Native Cherry. The style is taken from the Shakers of New Hampshire.

A variation on the above, with hand turned legs.

The smaller table is a lamp stand, with its matching low level coffee table.

It has elegant tapered legs with a Dove tailed drawer.

Legs attached by mortise and tenon joinery (close up pictures of this below).

Beautifully stained with an oil based cherry stain and urethane.

Made with solid wood and hand turned knobs.

Lamp stand and matching coffee table with side drawer.

Both are made of Tiger maple featuring hand turned legs , dove tailed drawers and finished with urethane .

Hand turned knobs

This is a Black and natural table - a one off original. (The baby is not included!)

It has hand turned legs painted black and the top is natural urethaned pine.

Below is an example of my projects in progress. The table is cherry wood -
the style is copied from a Shaker dining table. Top will be stained cherry.

I used pine boards to demonstrate what the top size will be, this piece is still under construction.

Examples of the craftmanship involved in constructing the furniture.

I use the durable joinery which the Shakers are famous for - their furniture was built to last, and so is mine!.

Drawer: shows "half blind" and "through" dove tailed joinery
