Founded about 50 years ago, the club is based at Groom bridge on the East Sussex/Kent border, and has a membership limited to 100 senior and 50 junior members.
Fishing within the club concentrates at the lake at Burrswood plus 3 lakes on the Buckhurst Estate.
The main activity within the club concentrates around the match fishing scene, and a comprehensive fixture list ensures that there aren't to many free weekends during the year.
Because of the rich variety of waters within easy driving distance, this years fixture list reflects that fact, and very few matches will be fished on club waters.
