OBEDIENCE TRAINERS

Eastleigh & District DTC have seven Obedience Trainers

Sue Abraham

Sue owns and trains Border Collies and Working Sheepdogs

She is competing with Kofi, a Working Sheepdog, at Class C

& has recently begun competing with her young Border Collie, Gadget

Kathy Case – Head Trainer

Kathy is an ADTB (Gold Level) approved training instructor

& a qualified All Britain Dog Trainer

Kathy has been involved with Eastleigh & District DTC since 1985 & has three Working Sheepdogs and a Lurcher. Poppy and Casey are retired.

Kathy competes with Eddie, and has started training Spice, who is a Lurcher.

Kathy has competed with dogs since 1978 and has owned and trained a number of different breeds ranging from a Labrador and Lurchers to Working Sheepdogs and Border Collies

Rob Case

Rob has been a member of Eastleigh & District DTC since 1987 when he had his first dog, Sherfield Blitzen (Blitz) a Working Sheepdog. 

Rob entered the Pedigree PetFoods Beginner Handler and won his heat at Winchester and went on to come 3^rd in the Final.  Rob has owned and worked five generations of Working Sheepdogs.

Sandy Elliston

Sandy is a qualified training instructor.

Sandy regularly competes with her Golden Retriever, Codie, and has just started training her new Goldie, Bronte.

Sandy has owned and trained Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Springer Spaniels and Golden Retrievers.

Tina Kemp

Tina owns and competes with a crossbreed, a Rotweiller and a Jack Russell

Hazel Kitching

Hazel is a qualified training instructor

Hazel has been involved with Eastleigh & District DTC since 1984

Hazel owns and competes with Shetland Sheepdogs

Teresa Squires

Teresa is a qualified training instructor.

Teresa has a five year old Lurcher called Suzi, they have attended Eastleigh & District DTC since Suzi was 12 weeks old

Teresa became interested in becoming a trainer and with help and guidance from fellow trainers at the club she qualified as a trainer in early 2005

Teresa has entered Suzi in a few shows, but has taken a break to have her son
