Ocarina Books is a UK-based company that has been distributing archaeoastronomy books at bargain prices since 1995. Founded by professional archaeoastronomers and archaeologists, Ocarina aims to be your portal for finding those rare and limited edition volumes in this interdisciplinary field.

We have a special relationship with the European Society for Astronomy in Culture (SEAC). The Proceedings of the 1993, 1994 and 1998 annual meetings of SEAC are available through Ocarina Books.

In 2001 Ocarina Books published three new books of our own, beginning our new role as a publisher as well as distributor.

We then built a working relationship with the Center for Archaeoastronomy, the only professional archaeoastronomy centre in the world. If you are in North America you can order Ocarina books directly from the Center. Likewise, we provide links to purchasing Center-produced volumes as well as our own.

In 2004, we added a database of thousands of archaeological images that are available for use by educators and for purchase by authors and publishers. You can browse the database for the images you need and then use our order form to purchase the one-time publication rights.
