Colchester is easily accessable from all parts of the country. It is situated just off the A12 trunk road that connects London to the East Anglian coast. From the South Colchester is approached from junction 28 of the M25. from the North and Midlands it is best approached from the A14 at Ipswich, either via the M1/M6 junction or the A1. It is not advised to take the A604 from Cambridge!
