Wayzgoose..

.............a printers' annual feast or outing

The jolly Wayzgoose boys are all (or have been) following in the footsteps of Bill Caxton, the famous putter of ink on paper. In days long past printers would treat their workers to a slap-up dinner once a year, so the annual wayzgoose was a prime event in their calendar. We like to think of our dances as mini wayzgooses, and if there is any food forthcoming....all the better!
