Visiting groups can avail themselves of the facilities at Coldwell on a day booking basis. Groups can make use of our meeting room, training facilities, orienteering course, Conservatory, play area and sensory garden.
Meeting Rooms
Two private meeting rooms are available for mini conferences or training. Facilities include Interactive whiteboards, laptops, TV, video, DVD player, Lap top projection, OHP, flip chart and access to Coldwell's Computer Suite. A variety of packages are available, to include Morning Coffee, Lunch in our Conservatory, and Afternoon Tea. Our helpful staff will assist you in ensuring that you have a most productive day.
Orienteering - Learn more
The Orienteering courses provide not only an excellent way to explore
the adjacent woodland area, but also a perfect introduction to map-reading
skills in a fun way within a controlled and safe environment.
Conservatory
The Conservatory is available for Private Parties. Choose to sit inside, or outside on our picnic benches, adjacent to the childrens play area. In either case enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the location and the breathtaking scenery surrounding the Centre.

Created during the spring of 2004, this new facility is proving
very popular with many small children whose families are visiting the Centre.
Sensory Garden
This is an on-going project and the garden changes from season to
season and year to year. For those with an interest in horticulture
and/or art, it provides an ever-changing attraction, stimulating
the senses of sight, smell and hearing.
Walking - Learn more
Public footpaths abound in the area, making Coldwell an attractive
centre for walkers and ramblers. The popular Pendle Way is routed
through the Centres grounds, the Brontë Way lies less
than half a mile away, and the Mary Towneley Loop of the Pennine
Bridleway passes close by.
Fishing - Learn more
Coldwell, on behalf of Nelson Angling Association, can provide day fishing permits by prior arrangement.
