Relatively Speaking By Alan Ayckbourn Tuesday 10th to Saturday 14th November 2009 A classic Ayckbourn comedy. As he himself says: "simply, a play to make people laugh!" Greg has moved in with Ginny and wants to marry her, but Ginny seems flighty and difficult to pin down. In fact Ginny quite fancies Greg and goes to see her married lover, Philip, one last time to end the affair. Unfortunately, she tells Greg she’s going to see her parents and Greg decides to force the issue of marriage by also going along to meet them. While Greg believes Philip to be Ginny’s father, Philip completely misreads the situation and thinks Greg is his wife’s lover! Thus are the foundations set for this excellent comedy of confusions and misunderstandings.
