A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY Tuesday 8th to Saturday 12th April Don't miss our next production A MONTH OF SUNDAYS a comedy
From the writer of The Good Life, Ever Decreasing Circles and As Time Goes By, Bob Larbey’s first stage play A Month of Sundays is a sensitive, sometimes candid but overwhelmingly humorous portrayal of life in a rest home for the elderly. Cooper has left home to avoid the indignity of depending on his family, only to find he has to endure a visit from his daughter and son-in-law on the first Sunday of every month. Together with his friend Aylott, the two endeavour to make the best of their situation, keeping their minds alert by trying to remember the eleventh man in the old cricket team! |

| Refusing to give in, Cooper constantly flirts with his nurse and strikes up a touching friendship with the hard bitten cleaning lady, who we suspect cleans his room more often than required, just because she enjoys his company. A humorous play with a touch of pathos!
A Month of Sundays has been entered into the Kent Drama Festival and will be adjudicated by Arthur Rochester, GODA after the Friday night performance. |
