 Communiqué Online Ltd was established 7 years ago by Charlie Gobbett, a professional French-to-English translator with 15 years’ experience in a range of specialist subject areas and capable of translating documents in virtually any file format.
After several years working in tourism, including product development, marketing and copywriting, I have a first-hand knowledge of the tourism industry and am the preferred provider of English translations for a number of prestigious French and Swiss tourism bodies as well as some of France’s top ski and summer resorts. I am based in the UK but lived in France for four years, where I gained an in-depth knowledge of the language and culture. Since returning to the UK I have continued to keep abreast of French news and cultural developments.
As an associate member of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting I am bound by the ITI’s Code of professional conduct.* I am also a member of the North West Translators Network.
