These provisional lists of the rarest wild plants in the county are being compiled from the data held in the
Warwickshire Biological Records Centre.The records are managed by the Warwickshire Recorder appointed by the
Botanical Society of the British Isles.The system used for selecting the lists is that
recommended by the BSBI and is consistent with similar lists being drawn up in other counties.
