We keep returning to Shropshire. This time a visit to the new Marches Training Belfry which is the latest development by John Turney and Jan Herraty owners of the Fire Ring a private mini-ring in an old forge building at Hopton Heath. They are becoming well known for their enterprising and useful series of weekend residential courses for ringers.

The bells' sounds are produced by a simulator which takes its timings from the swinging wheels. You can see the reflective triggor strip on two of the wheels in the above photo.
