The Young People's Cycle Tour

Each summer for the past nearly 30 years, Revd Geoff Stickland and his wife Ruth, from Quedgeley, Glos, have organised a week cycling / ringing holiday for young people (of all ages). After looking longingly at the programme for some time, this year, Ted and I finally took the plunge, and joined them. What a great week - excellent ringing, 30++ jolly good towers, nearly 200 miles of cycling even us oldies could just about cope with (nothing you could call a real hill in the whole journey), lovely homely and welcoming accommodation (Shallowford House) and what can I say about the company!
