Reports:

28/02/2004 - Cottage Farm Rangers celebrated their first win of the season in the first round of the League Cup, against a team who had already beat us twice in the League. But with a full squad of players for the first time this season, the team could play to their strengths and within ten minutes Katie Ford squeezed a shot past the Colts keeper and from there on the players heads were up and they never looked like loosing the game. In the second half things got even better with further goals from Hannah Fildes, Leanne Baker and Charley Westwood. Colts did have a few chances, but standin keeper, Sophie Douglas, played her part maving a number of important stops. Well done girls.   Player of the match - Charley Westwood.

24/01/2004 - After last weeks game the players deserved better, but were hampered from the start with a player less then their opponents, who from the onset set out their stall with some very attacking football. By the early part of the second half Cottage Farm found themselves 4 nil down. It could have been a lot more except for some excellent goalkeeping from Scarlett Allan-Stubbs (Player of the Match). Then the girls pulled one back through a well taken free kick by Leanne Baker. With that they upped the tempo and had several chances to probably level the score, but the ball just wasn't going to go in a second time.

17/01/2004 - Its was a long time coming, but at last the girls of Cottage Farm Rangers got their first point of the season in a local derby against Belgrave Bullets. The ironic thing is that all season they have been battling away, but nothings has gone their way, but on the evidence of today's performance that effort and commitment is starting to pay off and in fairness if it hadn't been for some excellent goal keeping for Belgrave Bullets the scoreline could have been a lot different. The player of the match for Cottage Farm Rangers was Charley Westwood.

04/10/2003 - This was only Cottage Farm Rangers second game of the season, but already there are promising signs for a squad, which was only been together just over the last three weeks. In fact there were three players making their debuts today. The first half saw both teams come off the pitch with the score 1-1, Stevie-Louise Oversby scoring on her debut. However, in the second half, Dosthill's better organisation won them the game, but special mention must go to Katie Ford, who put in a fine performance and Emma Eager in goal, who made several instinctive saves during the second half.

20/09/2003 - This was the girls first ever competitive game together as most of the players had only met each other about a week previously and were up against a Kingshurst team who are now in their second season together. But despite this there was more than enough evidence to suggest that once they've gelled together they will be a very good footballing side and there wont be to many more scores like this.
