Morning service is at 11:00 am. This usually begins with an act of all age worship for 20-25 minutes. There is then a short period of fellowship over tea and coffee in the hall at the end of which the service continues, usually for a further 30 minutes or so - ending at around 12.15. Children are always welcome at our morning service - there are arrangements to look after young children during the second half of the regular morning service.
Holy Communion services follow a different pattern. The service begins at 11:00 and runs straight through without a break in the middle, usually ending at around noon. Again, arrangements are in place to look after young children after the first part of the service, and the children then rejoin the congregation for communion.
Evening service is at 6:30pm and follows a more conventional pattern of worship. Some evening services are combined services for all churches in the Watford Circuit.
From the beginning of March, on average once a month, our evening service will be brought forward to 4.30pm. This will be held in the hall, and have the format of table fellowship, with a bring and share tea.
It will be an opportunity to have fellowship and fun, to be able to listen to one another and to God. It will however, most definitely be worship, but using more of a café style, with a mix of discussion, drama and music. We hope that it will be the type of service that you will be able to bring friends, and neighbours to. Come along to the next one on 1st June, and taste and see whether it is "your cup of tea".Once every two months the evening service is a healing service which includes the laying on of hands.
Three of our members have trained as accredited worship leaders and lead worship once or twice a quarter.
