If you've driven around Spain, you'll know how hard it can be to find your way around if you head off the main roads. Virtual Chauffeur offer you a GPS unit that you can pick up at Malaga airport and use during your stay. At the time of writing, a 7 day hire was around €63.

Fuengirola Zoo
Unfortunately the web site is only in Spanish. However, the zoo itself in Fuengirola is an excellent small zoo and well worth a visit. There is car parking next door to the zoo or on nearby streets. WE'VE VISITIED THIS ATTRACTION AND CAN RECOMMEND IT

Parque Acuatico Mijas
A water park on the outskirts of Fuengirola.

Aqua Vista
Another site in Spanish only, this time of a glass bottomed boat operating out of Fuengirola Port. They also offer a speed boat tour as well !

Go Beyond

Tivoli World
A theme park at Benalmádena.

Plaza Mayor
An entertainment complex - restaurants, cinemas, etc. - just outside of Malaga. The web site is in Spanish.

Chill Zone La Cubana
A beach bar and Thai Restaurant located between Fuengirola and Benalmádena.

Selwo
A safari park at Estepona. The web site is in Spanish although they clearly intend to publish it in English one day too.

Megabowl at La Cañada
At the La Cañada shopping centre is the largest bowling centre in this area of Spain.

Maps Costa Del Sol
One of the problems with this area is that it is being developed so quickly, maps become out of date. This useful web site has interactive maps of a number of major areas in this vicinity.
