Review
Dieter: I've got to say that I think
this is a really nice figure and there is a load of 'new'
goodies as well - well,
perhaps, revamped would be a more accurate description in some
cases, e.g. the water bottle.
Another new head sculpt is provided
together with the addition of metal and plastic spectacles - a
really nice touch. The figure is dressed in the new improved
tunic that has smaller green buttons. Dieter has been
supplied with a new grey undershirt, something that has long
been requested by collectors.
Most of the equipment has 'weathering' or
'wear' applied as standard which although not overdone can
look strange when put on a figure with 'pristine' uniform!
However this doesn't detract from the overall look of the
figure. The effect on me is "let's get some for the others".
Dragon have provided two side caps, one in
plastic and the other in cloth. I think that the cloth version
is really great considering the limitations of producing cloth
anything in this scale! Some people do not rate it but each to
their own. I'd like to see it produced as an accessory.
Dieter's bicycle: A great accessory
that is well made and finished to the usual Dragon high
standard - and cheaper than a motorcycle! Not a bad
representation of the real thing although some 'weathering'
would not go amiss. The tyres and pedal rubber are moulded in
a black vinyl similar to the boots.
Overall:
Another good figure from Dragon with an unusual but
well produced 'military' accessory. Get one for your
collection.
