I've got to say that looking at the
prototype figure on the Dragon website didn't do a lot for me,
but I got one anyway, and I'm glad I did. With only a couple
of niggles the overall effect of the figure is, I think, very
good.
The figure has a head sculpt that
features a face only a mother could love but is chock full of
character, a really nice effort. The uniform and equipment are
up to the expected Dragon standard (with the exception of
the dreadful officer belt), with most of the equipment
being used previously on other figures.
The panzer wrap tunic features pink
piped collars and really nice collar tabs. The officer side
cap in cloth has self adhesive insignia and markings that are
a bit naff but give a reasonable effect, better than a moulded
plastic one in my view.
Not really enough in the way of
equipment for this figure but a Tiger tank is out of the
question really.
Overall: Just another German
figure, but worth the hassle of getting it from Hong Kong!
