Review
A nice neo figure with another new head sculpt.
The figure is provided with one fixed flesh colour hand and one
bendable black gloved hand.
An eye patch is provided that is removable.
A first for Dragon on this figure is the cloth
officer peaked cap. I wasn't overly impressed with it at first, as
it wouldn't fit the head without a lot of effort, but with a bit of
tweaking it is not too bad. The cap has green piping and a star
shaped badge below the national eagle emblem.
The tunic is nicely tailored and finished and has
a green plush collar and 'French' cuffs. The officer shoulder boards
have green piping. A strange anomaly from Dragon is the fact that a
printed Jaeger edelweiss motif has been factory applied and yet the
national emblem and collar tabs are loose in the box!.
The trousers are nicely finished and have button
detail to the legs - as per the originals- that are, unfortunately,
hidden when the figure is wearing his boots.
Another first for Dragon is the black leather
greatcoat. I think the figure is worth getting for this alone. It is
very well made and finished with a generous cut that allows it to be
put on the figure with no effort.

nice figure although a bit light on the accessories. |
