Review
Oskar: I've got to say that I think
this is a really nice figure .
Another new head sculpt is provided
that has the rugged look of a battle hardened veteran - a
really nice touch.
The figure is dressed in the black tanker
wrap tunic and black trousers. Oskar has been supplied with a
new black roll-neck sweater, something that has long been
requested by collectors. The one-piece camo over-suit is
nicely done, but it seems a shame to cover up the nice tunic
and trousers; oh well!
Oskar has a black SS side-cap that when put
on doesn't look too bad, although the quality control seems to
have gone a bit awry as you can see if you look at the
position of the skull on the cap.
Another addition is an insert for the mess
tin that represents food to be consumed. A neat idea as
everyone has to eat some time.
Some of the equipment has 'weathering' or
'wear' applied as standard which, although not overdone, can
look strange when put on a figure with 'pristine' uniform!
However this doesn't detract from the overall look of the
figure. The effect on me is "let's get some for the others".
Overall:
Another good tanker figure from Dragon. Get one for your
collection.
