Another great figure from Dragon! The head
sculpt is very good, not too bland but not overdone either.
The uniform and equipment are up to the usual high Dragon
standard and there are several 'new' items.
The first new item is the assault vest.
This is very finely done and, I think is superior to the one
made by Cotswold (now discontinued). Also on the new list are
the brown shirt with rank and infantry insignia and the
assault gas mask bag (no gas mask unfortunately). The figure
comes with improved Thompson - more detailed wood graining - and
Browning pistol. The boots and leggings are 'weathered' but
sit rather uneasily with the rest of the uniform and equipment
that are 'pristine', still some judicious weathering on these,
should you feel like it, would solve that.
Overall:
An extremely attractive addition to your WWII US figure
collection. Get one! |
