Review

Another good looking figure from Dragon. There are some new items included with this figure such as the 'washed-out' or battle-worn Dennison' camo smock, green shirt with tie, small back pack and pistol holster.

The head sculpt has a distinctly similarity to Sean Connery who played Major General Robert Urquhart in the film 'A Bridge Too Far'.

The uniform is well made and finished although the camo smock with its 'battle-worn' seems a little on the light side. The smock is a snug fit, but goes on if you are patient, and I like the small zip at the neck opening.

The red beret is as used on 'Ian' but finished in red flock and with the Scottish Highland Division badge.

The webbing equipment is a joy to behold and is, again, well made and finished; I particularly like the brass metal buckles.

A small gripe here, the pistol cord is far too short and is made of that crappy elastic that Dragon is far too fond of using, I'm sure that there is a better cotton cord available that could have been used instead. It would have only served to enhance the figure - penny pinching? I'm not sure.

Overall: I'm not sure that I am altogether happy with this figure. Yes the head is a good resemblance to a well-known British actor but it really lacks anything that says 'buy me!' and is really very meagre on the equipment front.

Get one if you need it to complete your collection.
