Review

As usual the figure is well made and put together and has some new items. The main one being the Artillery Luger pistol and holster. Also the boots, binoculars and figures hands appear to have been made from a softer more rubbery plastic that has more give in it. This is better for the hands and boots I think. However I have some likes and some  disappointments for this figure.

First the likes; the head sculpt is outstanding. The uniform is well made and put together, and I like the metal helmet and leather liner. The officer cap is well done and appears to be a new, slightly smaller, moulding.

Now the disappointments; the lower pockets on the tunic are sewn on representations and have been done better in the past.

The main disappointment for me however is the artillery Luger holster; although it is a good attempt it just does not work for me. It is made from brown leather like material and comprises several separate parts joined by a shoulder strap.

There are no illustrations as to how it is supposed to go together so it is a matter of guesswork. Although it is an unusual piece I will most likely replace it with another pistol and holster, probably a Walther or standard Luger.

Overall: A nice figure for your collection
