Reinhardt, Deutches Afrika Korps (Gefreiter), North Africa, 1942

Star Rating:

This figure represents a Gefreiter of the newly formed Deutches Afrika Korps sent to North Africa to aid the Italians in 1942. The figure is dressed in the early pattern olive coloured uniform of open neck tunic with national, arm of service and rank insignia, trousers, leather and canvas boots and steel helmet. His equipment consists of 'Y' straps and belt, 2 ammunition pouches, tan bread bag, gas mask canister, water bottle, bayonet and scabbard, goggles, and entrenching tool. He is armed with the standard K98 rifle.

Review

I really like this figure. The overall finish of the uniform and equipment is to the usual high standard. The boots look good and not too oversize.

The head sculpt is nicely done but the hair manages to make the helmet difficult to sit right.

The goggles supplied with the figure are very good and the white neck scarf is a nice touch.

Overall: Very good. I recommend this figure for your collection.
