Local
Conservatives have spent a great deal of time
listening to the concerns of local people. Here are
some aims that a Conservative Council will pursue:
-
We will carefully promote sensible schemes of
traffic management and parking.
-
We will work with the Police towards zero tolerance
of crime and social nuisance.
-
We will encourage more local initiatives like Sure
Start, which help young families so much.
-
We will strongly support business, jobs and tourism.
-
We will actively encourage modern leisure facilities
for all.
-
We will plan for serious improvements in recycling,
litter reduction and toilet provision.

Don
Bunting lives on the edge of the Northgate Ward where together
with his wife Caroline they own and run a specialist
retail business. They have two grown up sons
Although local politics and welfare have always been
an interest of Don, until recently a lack of time has
prevented any deep involvement. However, the present
need for change at a local level has never been
greater.
With your future and his being dependent upon
improvement in both the Northgate Ward as well as
Canterbury as a whole you can be sure that in voting
for Don you will be helping to achieve a common goal.
