Over 30 years working within the community which has involved elected representation on Canterbury City Council for twelve years as well as working on the District Health Authority and in Education.

More recently I was a co-founder of the Whitstable Improvement Trust where I was the council appointee and director for many years.

My business experience includes financial auditing followed by setting up and directing an industrial cleaning business across Kent and East Sussex.

I am fortunate to have had a wide range of success in leisure activities achieving representation honours for swimming. I am interested in gardening, walking, indoor and outdoor bowling where I have achieved some success.

I am delighted to have been elected to serve Seasalter Ward and will work hard within the community. I will do my best to ensure that the delivery of services are efficient and effective as well as doing what I am able to resolve the problems of the people I represent.

Cyril Windsor
I was first elected in 1973 and enjoy living in Whitstable, working for, and within, the local community. As Chairman of the Canterbury and District Indoor Bowling Association, I help to bring affordable facilities to the district. I am also a member of the Whitstable Twinning Association which promotes friendship between the peoples of Albertlund, Borken, Dainville, Molndal, Ricany and Whitstable. I am married with two daughters and one grandson who all live in Whitstable.
