Capu di a Veta (703m)

You are at: Home > Calvi and Corte walks > Capu di a Veta

Capu di a Veta is the hill that rises above Calvi. The first part of the walk was the same as the Revellata walk up to the Chapelle de Notre Dame de la Serra. Then from the church we took a track that ran south up to a pylon at 395m. The path to the summit was steep and rocky at times. There were good views from the summit, especially of Calvi and the bay. From the summit the descent was down a path which cut through the maquis, and brought us out on minor roads which led down to the beach. A short walk (paddle) along the beach brought us back to Calvi.
