Orso Lango to Calvi

The previous day had been a rest day, when we went to Ille Rousse on the train, had a stroll around, and a very nice lunch in the Grand Bleu restaurant, followed by a swim/paddle.

Today's walk involved taking the train from Calvi to Orso Lango, or "Club Med" as the stop is known due to the holiday village.

From Orso Lango we walked to the coast at Punto Spanu. The route to Calvi is then along the coast, following tracks and paths. The coast is rocky to start with, but then becomes a sandy expanse. There are many excellent places to swim, and a number of beach cafes for a welcome drink.
