Refuge de Carrozzu

Today's walk took us back to Bonifatu. From Bonifatu we headed east up through the forest, to meet the GR20 at the Refuge de Carozzzu (1270m).

From the refuge a few of us walked a short distance south on the GR20, to an impressive suspension bridge over the Spasimata gorge. Jackie nearly froze, but then managed to cross and cross back.

The return to Bonifatu followed the same path as on the way up. We all enjoyed a drink at the Auberge de la Foret, the gite d'etape at Bonifatu, before taking the coach back to Calvi.
