Gerschnialp

An ambling around day - Dennis was on his feet but feeling very fragile. From Engelberg we walked past the Eugenisee, a small lake popular with anglers, and up through forest paths to the Wanghutte. From here we walked along roads to Unter Truebsee and then paths across the Gerschnialp to Trauboden before descending down to Engelberg. We had a look around the town museum where there was a film about the 2005 flooding.

A typical sign. It was quite an overcast day.

The enterprising Indian snack bar at the exit from the Titlis lifts. There is a strong connection between Engelberg and Bollywood films - so there were coachloads of Indian tourists arriving every day.
