Start of the Carding Mill Valley.
Carding Mill Valley, just before the National Trust Centre and tea rooms. The sunny weather had brought out many people.

Calf Ridge - Carding Mill Valley. If you take a dog with you, then it would be advisable to use a leash, as a fellow walker mentioned that some farmers may shoot on sight.
Lambs on the slopes of Grindle, above Ashes Hollow. We went past Ashes Hollow to come down Small Batch.

View North along Ragleth Hill. Climbing Ragleth Hill (espically after a pub stop) is a steep haul, but the views are worth it.
Ragleth Wood. After this we were soon back in Church Stretton enjoying tea and cake.
