Mayrhofen Torsee

This was a walk we attempted to do 17 years previously but bad weather meant we cut the walk short. There was no problems this time and we completed the walk. We took the bus to Lanersbach and got off at the Eggalmbahn. We took the cable car to the top station next to the Eggalm.
From the Eggalm (1960m) we took the well walked track and path up to the summit of the Grublspitze 2395m and then continuing along the ridge to the Ramsjoch 2508m. At this point we left the ridge and descended down to the Torsee where we had a break and lunch. From the Torsee we continued our descent down the valley past waterfalls to the Nasse Tuxalm where we picked up a tarmac road to the Geiselhof We stopped at the Geiselhof for drinks and apfel strudel before continuing on paths down to Lanersbach for the bus home.
