We caught the bus up the Zemmgrund to Ginzling. We walked through the forest up into the Gunggtal valley, Staying in the forest the path followed the stream until clear ground was reached. A short distance on we came to the Maxhutte, rather than go in the hut at this point we explored furrther upstream before returning to the hut for refreshments, We retraced our steps back to Ginzling where we had a look around the information centre before returning to Mayrhofen on the bus.
