Today's walk was a link walk between the top stations of the Ciampinoi and Dantercepies cable cars. The valley stations for both of these are in Selva, The Ciampioni being central and the Dantercepies was about a 10 minute walk from the centre.

We took the cable car to Top of Ciampinoi (2254m) and then walked south past the Comici hut then through the City of Stones to reach Passo Sella - weher we took pictures of Coffin Lift and made observations on how to get on and off!

We descending north on Path 657, then just before reaching Plan de Gralba we turned off on Path 653 (may be difficult to spot), crossing the mountain road a couple of times and walking east joining 654 which took us up to Passo Gardena.

We looked round the very small chapel, and then with a little bit more ascent, reached the Dantercepies cable car which returned us to Selva.
