Sas Ciampac (2672m)

This was a long but excellent day's walk, and we were blest with exceptional weater. We started with the Dantercepies cable car and the Walked on track below the Cir range, climbing up over the Passo Cir which took us into Chedul Valley and then onwards up to the Passo Crespeina.

From the col up we followed the west ridge to summit of Sas Ciampac, taking in the views before descent to Forcella de Ciampac and then on to the Puez Hut. On the way we passed a chap painting the red and white markers - its the first time we have seen then being painted - but it was a superb day for drying.

At the Puez Hut we had a bowl of soup and a drink before descending on path 16 to the Vallelunga, and from there back to Selva.
