Piz Boe (3152m)

You are at: Home > Selva walks >Piz Boe

This would be our first and only walk in the Sella Massif. Piz Boe at 3152m is the highest point of the range. The popular route is from Passo Pordoi, from where you can walk up to Piz Boe directly, or take the Sas Pordoi cable car to the top of the massif and then walk across to Piz Boe.

Jackie noticed that we could climb Piz Boe from Corvara using the Piz Boe cable car, and then the Vallon chair lift. Although not covered on our passes they did give us a 30% discount on the fares.

From the top of the Vallon chair lift (2550m) we took path 638 up to the summit and returned the same way. Although very cloudy there were plenty of people around and given there is a cafe at the top, it reminded us of the summit of Snowdon.
