Todays walk was on the high grassy plateau of the Stevia mountain above Selva.

We walked to the Col Raiser valley station for the cable car to the top. From here we followed tracks passing the Regensburger Hut, before taking a steep footpath going up a rocky gorge to the Forcella dia Piza.

From here we walked up to the grassy top of La Piza (which we had to ourselves!!!) before descending to the Stevia Hut.

We stopped here for refreshment, it was a lot cooler today so we were glad to have a break inside. From the hut we took the "Stevia Express" footpath down to the valley and back to Selva. It was a lovely walk but our photos did not due it justice - the clouds got in the way.
