| The forecast was for snow! However after a cloudy and overcast start, the day brightened up to give us views. The bus took us to the Louron valley, which lies to the east of St Lary. The walk today was on a different map IGN TOP 25 1748ET "Bagneres de Luchon" We started the walk at Pont du Prat (1250m) from here we walked through the forest paths and then followed a track high above a gorge before reaching the Refuge de la Soula (1690m). From the refuge we walked up the valley all the way to the Pouchergues lake, before retracing our steps back to Pont du Prat. | |
