What is Push Gastronomy?

Push Gastronomy was the brainchild of three people who had nothing better to do at work than to spend their time planning their next culinary outing. It started out as a private informal lunch club at Paris London Cafe every Thursday lunchtime, and evolved into a series of outings to other places on evenings and weekends.

A website charting these visits was the natural next step. However, due to various splitters finding themselves other jobs I found myself nursing a stagnating website. In almost four years' existence I did not receive a single review from either Olof or Niki. So instead it's evolved into my own private database of my favourite restaurants, food shops, books, breweries and more. I'm also happy to receive helpful hints, reviews, and yes, I'm open to suggestions for dinner dates too!

Oh, and as for the origins of the name... don't ask!
