I owned this car for about 3 years. It proved to be quite reliable overall. It was a great cruising car and was perfect for the regular 300+ mile journey I had for my last job down in Brighton. However the poor fuel economy and high insurance costs do make it expensive to run. Some of the main jobs I had done on the car were:

replace coil & stator after the engine cut out and refused to start again |

replace engine imobiliser to cure the engine cutting out intermittently |

plus the usual service items.
The car had done 96000+ miles when I sold it, 48000 of which were during my ownership.
