There's only one way to see the Scottish Highlands - on foot!
(The magnificent Loch Coire Mhic
Fhearchair on the northern slopes of Beinn Eighe)

Occasionally you can find some easy walking along a track, but usually it is harder going!

The open moorland and the ancient Caledonian Forests each have a beauty of their own.

Whether you are walking along the tops or through the valleys, the views are magnificent.

After slogging your way up to the head of a valley, you can be greeted with a superb view such as this.

Often you can get an extensive view from the mountain summits but sometimes you aren't so lucky!

Many of the wild pitchs are particularly memorable.
